Downs and Ups...

Sorry its been so long. Ironically enough, the day after my termination, my computer died. Yes, died. Motherboard or processor went out. So it has to be rebuit. And seeing as how I have no job, it may be a few weeks before that gets done. Meanwhile, I've still got my mobile blogging and my roomie's computers to bring you the latest updates in the life of M.

That said, at the time of posting there are approximately 12 hours remaining until the clock starts ticking for that Centurion card in 2 years. We're starting completely fresh for 2008 - no job, not-so-good credit, little bit of money. It's gonna be fun :).

So yeah, my computer is gone, altering life as I know it because I have nothing to do and I kinda have to put business on hold. But there was some sunshine through the clouds this week: Romance...ermmm... Ladies.. no... yeah ladies 'll do... Ladies Update!

I actually got a hold of the girl on the phone. We talked, it was cool. (We've agreed to be pletonic for the time being until she shakes off her previous thing. Not sure if i mentioned that.) I was driving around and I saw one of my buddies and decided to go hang out with him at his place and eat, so I got off the phone with her. Well, low and behold no 2 bits into my McChicken she calls me back and asks if I want to go look at TVs with her. ?o? You can imagine the look of shock on my face... So we did that, ended up not getting a TV just yet (prices are gonna drop at least once more in 1Q next year... best to hold off if u dont wanna spend a lot of money.) Then we hung out at her car and talked for quite a bit and I offered to have her over for movies and she fed me my "We shall see" line and I cut my losses and we split. Fast forward later that night. I got on the phone with my Sweetest Taboo (Boondocks reference) - a female friend that I trust with everything and advises me. We were talking about the lil lady and low and behold, she txt me asking if I had food. Of course I have food, I'm an aspiring chef. Movies? Yep, got those too. 20 minutes later fajitas were done and she was at the crib. We watched Players Club (great movie, quite funny), and then we sat on the couch in the dark and talked til 3AM. Very good and introspective conversation about dreams and after-grad plans, etc. Now... heres the kicker: 3AM she pops up off the couch "Let's go get in the bed." x.X Again, you can imagine the look of shock on my face... luckily it was dark. So off to bed we went. Chatted for a bit more, I played in her hair, and we went to sleep. Cutest thing I ever woke up to ever. And she talks in her sleep. Woke up, made breakfast, talked with the roommates, and I sent her off into the day with a peach rose and a kiss.... progress was made.

Now, in afterthought, if I'm doing the math correctly and weighing the night, I won't have any contact with the chick for at least one week. That is, if things go the way they've gone in the past - which I have no reason to beleive they wont. But, even so I did invite her to spend new years under the stars and the fireworks with M himself...

We shall see, see shall we.
Ciao,
M.

P.S. The parts to fix my computer cost $200. Send me money, $_$. ROFL.

Ask the right questions... - Romance update

I need to think of another title than "romance." It sounds so old fasioned. Maybe I'll just call it ladies. Princesses is fitting too, since i am searching for the new after the former. I'll figure out, anyways.

Lesson learned: communication is much easier than self-inflicted frustration. Instead of thinking up a million crazy reasons why the chick isnt talking to me, ask her. (Granted, this could also go the other way around, where the chick herself could just say what she's up to). So, the answer? What it's always been. Just got out of a relationship, not trying to jump into another one, which I can certainly respect. She already told me she like likes me, so I have nothing to worry about. Just sit back, be a friend (maybe, hopefully a little more), remind her whats waiting for her, and shell take it when shes good and ready. I aint greedy, I can live with that.

M.

Wow...

The after-Christmas update:

Work - I've been terminated. Praying that Delta can pick up the slack.

Romance - Still isn't talking to me, I think I'm done.

Cars - Needs an oil change and I hope they dont make me pay for these tickets.

School - Still no word from GSU on my class with Jim.

Business - Thank goodness for business, I hope my ideas are able to flourish through this torrent im caught up in.

M. - More than anything I'm upset about the romance thing. I really thought that was going somewhere. And even when I told this chick about losing my job, she left me hangin. So other than being disappointed in that, I'm good, I guess. And Christmas was good, I spent it with family.

Ciao,
M.

When it all falls down...

Hmm... My faith is being tested, it seems. My internship class with Jim - the one where I'm supposed to learn from the best, polish my entre skills right before I get out of college, get a nice little jump on being a millionaire - yeah Georgia State University doesnt seem to think thats a good idea. Cancelled. But worry not, this shan't be the last they hear from me on that issue. I plan to fight this one tooth and nail.

And, remeber that awesome night I had with the girl? Yeah, didnt hear from her all week. Naturally being me, I worried (for her safety and well being, not whether she likes me). So I finally get in touch with her thru FB and shes been "just chillin," as if nothings wrong. I've yet to understand why dating has to be so complicated, and I'm wary that there are many more quandries to come. But I'm dedicated. I promised I'd try my best all the way to Jan. 1, and thats what I shall do.

So,
We shall see, see shall we.
Ciao,
M.

As promised: Romance update

...LG. Everything went well. Thought were shared, bodies were held, beautiful. There were even shooting stars! Yes, real, falling stars - two of em'. True story. I got some good feedback, and even some praise on my romantic inclination. It seems I may meet my New Years goal after all. We shall see, see shall we.

Ciao,
M.

What you want me to do, I'm sorry!? I'm back!

It's been a minute. That because I nixed the N75 for a different phone set, and since I originally started this to be a mobile photoblog things slowed down with the demise of the N75. (Well, its still alive, I just don't use it). Now I'm Tilt'ed (have been since 2 weeks before it came out), and life's going quite well, so I thought I return here and share.

The Tilt will now be my mo-blogging device of choice (once I get MMS working on it, stupid threaded messaging hack...). I will also be blogging like normal people do, just to kind of keep track of life as it goes. Its a movie! Follow along.

So here's the catch up:
School - I applied for graduation yesterday. It's official. May 10th. Spring 08 is my last semester.

Work - It was a routine day, moving phones across the counter. I got off early and went to see my mom. I get a phone call about a Delta person wanting me to call them. Turns out, it was a lady I talked to a few months back that was going to get me into being a flight attendant. "..Long story short, I got promoted to the interview council. You're in...," she said to me. Probably wont happen until after above mentioned graduation, but it's done. Look for me in the skies.

Romance - Thrill of the chase. In my search for a new after the former, I've found an interesting little one. She's cool and maybe more excited about business than I am. She's putting up one hell of a fight though. But finals is over and I'm going hard at it. If things go as they've been going in other aspects of my life, she'll be wearing the M by the end of the year. We'll see... more to come...

Bizziness - Well, my entrepreneurial role model has just confirmed that I will be interning exclusively with him in my last semester, and we're gonna go step by step thru starting an e-com business. I know, I know... Life just doesn't get much better... I said the same thing.
Also, I've connected with some people, and thrown some ideas around, and the production company is going to happen - 1Q 2008. Look for the links, follow the movie.

Cars - I still got my she-monster :) 2 expired tag tickets, which I'm praying to get thrown out, but other than that CoCoPoPo has been very cooperative. I've got my eye and heart set on the '08 M3, and it shall be mine. I promise.

M - I'm good. Happy with life, but thirsting for more. Companionship, money, cars, and knowledge. Centurion card in 2 years, the clock starts 12AM.Jan.01.2008. 2008 is the year of the M.

Like I said, its a movie! And it's brought to you by the letter "M"
Follow along. Ciao.

VA Part II

VA Part I

under construction

I built my bed, finally! It was fun and very much worth it. Now, if only i could my hands on that flat screen...

It's going down for Harry P!

That was the word as a gentleman walked past, commenting on the line for Order of the Phoenix. And how did we get this exclusive commentary? That's right. The front of the line is what you're looking at here. Ciao!

my lucky day

The first of two Ferraris i saw today. Parked right outside of the store when i got back from my lunch date with georgia state patrol and the leasing office was this beautiful little 355 :-)

6.29.2007

iPhone!

Yep. That's two of the real thing, before they went on sale. This was they're first time out in the world, getting ready to go on display. It's a sweet phone, let we be the one to tell you.

6.11.2007

oceans thirteen

Here's the line at atlantic station. Disorganized, even for a popular movie. But what a cool movie! Well thought out and very creative. Plus, the all star cast - sadly we lost Dannys wife and Rustys theiving girlfriend in the picture :(, and Al Pachino doesn't really make up for that loss but he's still a great addition to the movie. It was short though, and some characters didn't get as much play as we would've liked (sorry Basher, no carefully calculated explosions this time.) All in all though, great movie. Surfer's next!

M's car don't dos

Number one: DON'T buy a regular mustang. You don't know what you're saying about yourself or your country.
Number two: For the love of cheese don't paint the damn thing pink!

poster boy finally took it out!

So my mom calls me and tells me that the poster boy has finally decided to bring his shelby gt out for all to see. She told me i had 5 minutes to get there to see it, and naturally i got there in 4. And of course, the poster boy, mom, and i being such good friends i got to go for a ride! And let me be the one to tell you: wow! Its loud. Its hot. It looks spectacular. And my word is it fast! Only 249 of em in the world. So if you want this one, i can work something out for you, especially if you're japanese or live in japan. 250 grand-ish. Holla!

SLR McLaren

My travels with krma today to get his new honda accord took us to a mercedes dealership in quaint colombus, Ga. And guess what i found there! That's right boys and girls. 466000 dollars worth of german supercar. A lovely sight this one.

jean and jack

Look! It's juan and jack in the living room.

5.25.2007

pirates of the caribbean 3

Easily the best and highest grossing movie this summer. I got tickets for the first showing and got there an hour early. The theatre was using three rooms and all of them were about a third full when i got there. And for good reason. If you haven't been yet, go. Now. It was an amazing movie. Simply amazing. Better than spidey. And the only thing left to touch it is mr. Potter. I mean there were people dressed up for goodness sake! Well worth the money and i'll see it at least two more times before it leaves the screen. The best part: there's room for another! Drink up me hearties yo ho!

5.24.2007

halo 3 beta!

Here's krma playing halo 3 beta. Its freakin sweet! Can't wait for the full release.

5.23.2007
